Save our tracks from being ripped up to build a bike path! Upcoming Rallies and March on 17 June 2021 On Thursday, 17 June 2021, we have two rallies and a march to request Tweed Shire Council to conduct independent, Shire-wide community consultation and to not remove the rail tracks. Rally at Murwillumbah will gather at the Railway Station from 3pm onwards. At 4:30pm, participants can take part in a peaceful march across the bridge to the lawn outside Tweed Shire Council, on Tumbulgum Road. Rally in Tweed Heads will be at 4:30pm on the lawns outside the Council branch office in Brett Street. Council will meet at 5:30pm. We ask all of our supporters and the wider community to please attend to demonstrate to Council that there is indeed widespread support. If we don’t act now then it may be too late. Show your support, gather with us. Mark the date please. Join our Not-For-Profit Public Company and bring rail back!
